REVOLUTION(S)
2004
Material
Kapton, aluminium tubes, polyamide chain and tape
Dimension
12 x 34 x 6 m | 500 m²
Purpose
“Revolution(s)” develops a moving architecture within a stable architecture. Ceilings spiral and rotate to become walls; all the sides of a complex surface are revealed at once. The material creates tension between hot and cold. Its extreme fragility means that simply by moving, the visitor can plunge the entire structure into a state of instability.
