Les Jetées is composed by four stairs that lead to nowhere. Those four ways, offer four different points of view open on the city of Brest, in France. Improbable interchange of the new tramway line, observatory or public tribune in a mutation process, this installation appears like a heterotopic territory offered to each citizen as a place to meet together.
The intersection just as a cross on a map, shows the non-space, an area in suspension or the time and space for the burlesque interlude « lost in translation ».

Dystopic work, disfunctionnal architecture or unbuild outside, the monument introduces into the city a symbolic point of tension.
