Following Memories of Tomorrow and Love Song for Riots, Vortex Populi is a monumental installation that questions the imposed order.
By hijacking Vauban’s barriers, usually used by police forces to contain the crowds, Faustino invents new paths into the nave of the MAGASIN, Center of Art in Grenoble.
Between decor and disaster, the installation in situ distorts the exhibition space that became the place of a symbolic revolt set in motion by the movement of the body.
