By taking some piece of floor, ceiling and walls, Matta-Clark is creating thanks to the vacuum complex geometric shapes. Revealing its skeleton, strata and its functions, the edifice with a hole seems to collapse at anytime.
Perforated from anywhere, places open to the light, air and weather conditions offer a unique experience by changing a whole architectural logic. The viewer-spectator is captured in his spatial approach, between aesthetic shock, disorientation and fear.
The scenography that Didier Faustino has tempted to raise up for this special occasion, tries to show the complex process of creation of the artist.
